Obviously May has flown by for us. My friend, Mary Hone, told me she checked my blog but I hadn't written on it since Mother's Day...Oops. :) This month like most everyone elses has been filled with end of the year school activities and everything else that piles up in May...On top of that we are hitting hundreds everyday and it is getting old already. Ugh.
Last nite was the American Community School Prom. Ryan took his friend Megan. Although he has not emerged from his room yet this morning, he did tell me that they had a good time. He is ready for school to be out...last day June 4th. Yay!
Sallie, Robert and I are spending more time at the beach these days...in the afternoons it is a bit cooler and the water is just right. We moved to the beach from the park as the park was getting too hot. I've also started giving swim lessons to some of the kids as everyone wants to work on skills and things. We started last Wed. and I was glad that my new friend Johnni, from Missouri, married to an Emirati, was able to bring her son Hassan for the lessons. Not sure how far we will go but the kids seemed to enjoy the lessons.
Last nite our friends Brad and Sharon had a 25th Anniversary party at their apt. They were married one week before us...It was a fun party. Mike and I were chosen for the oldywed game that the Kerrs cooked up...we tied for 3rd/last place. Sigh...but actually were very happy with our answers and scores. It was really a fun evening.
So, we are getting ready for our trip to the US...countdown....less than one month. Can't wait.....
